With lefty Jaime Garcia sidelined for at least six weeks with a shoulder injury, the St. Louis Cardinals turn to rookie Joe Kelly to make his first major-league start in Sunday’s rubber game against Cleveland Indians. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder was a third-round draft pick in 2009. He has a tough act to follow after Kyle Lohse tossed 7 2/3 scoreless innings in Saturday’s 2-0 Cards win. That was just St. Louis’ sixth victory in 19 all-time tries against the Indians.
